Intensive Treatment Program
The intensive Treatment Program is an accelerated treatment program designed to provide effective short-term treatment for people suffering with anxiety disorders. The Intensive Treatment Program are individually designed for specific phobias, panic disorder and agoraphobia, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder. The typical program includes 20 to 25 individual, 45-minute therapy sessions per week over one to two-weeks, and two forty-five (45) minute follow-up sessions. However, modifications of the program can be made to address each patient's particular case; thus, shorter programs (e.g., 8-hours in 1day) or longer programs can be tailored to make it more cost-effective. Depending on the nature of each case's problems and circumstances, therapy sessions can take place either at the Center or in "real life" anxiety provoking situations.
