Biofeedback and Video/Computer Assisted Therapy Unit
On April 2006, the CIP will open the Biofeedback and Video/Computer Assisted Therapy Unit. The purpose of this Unit is to increase the efficiency of treatment by helping patients to accelerate their learning process of relevant cognitive, physiological and behavioral skills. Specifically, patients will be presented educational videos about their disorders, the causes of the disorder and the recovery process. Also, they will perform a number of interactive exercises or simulated exposure-based on video or computer programs-designed to help the patient learn how to use the cognitive-behavioral principles to overcome their problems and achieve their goals
